Endowment Fund

Purpose

Each Year Futures Unlimited, Inc. provides daily training and support services to over 300 residents of Livingston County who have disabilities or need assistance in reaching their potential. Futures' staff serves as the primary source of assistance for many of these individuals. Our agency wants to assure that we will be able to meet the needs of Livingston Country for many years to come. The Endowment Fund will help provide that assurance.

Use of Funds

Funds donated or received will only be used for the following purposes:

	Special needs of individuals - Medical, dental, housing and training needs that are not funded by any other sources.
	Equipment for agency programs - Specialized equipment is often required to serve persons with disabilities.
	Building adaptations and repairs.
	Facility expansion to meet training and residential needs.

Management of Funds

Only the earnings of the Endowment Fund will be expended, allowing the principal to remain for the future. An Endowment Fund Committee - consisting mostly of parents and family members of persons served - will meet quarterly and prioritize needs, and present recommendations to the Futures Unlimited, Inc. Board of Directors for final approval.
